people don't say drawer because the definition of drawing and drawers have different definition. a drawer is from a cupboard and draw/drawing is defined as to drag lead to make a mark. so yeah 
I know that, but it's still weird! Every time I want to tell someone that I draw, the word "Drawer" comes to my mind. I guess I gotta say artist or somethin
